Safeflow were contacted by a large car manufacturing plant, who were having problems with their extraction system. Small particles of paint, from the paint spraying areas, had been settling over time on the coil surfaces. This severely restricted the air flow leading to increased running costs of the ventilation system and a reduction in air quality.
Safeflow devised a cleaning maintenance programme, alongside the car plant. This involved a wet and dry coil cleaning technique, using high pressured air and sourcing a suitable coil cleaning solution. After the successful cleaning the air flow rates increased dramatically. This lead to a reduction in the running costs of the plant and improved air quality for employees.
