The Royal Hallamshire Hospital is a large multi-teaching hospital and it is vitally important that any works carried out regards the buildings fire safety protection measures are to the highest standard. Safeflow Ventilation were commissioned to carry out fire damper inspection, maintenance and testing work following their submission of a comprehensive report to how this would meet not only our stringent specification but also that detailed within relevant guidance documents.
Safeflow carried out the works to our expectation and the final reports were detailed and clear, providing clear priorities of action where required and supported with photographic evidence. Steve and his team worked particularly well where 'clinical sensitivity' to the area in hand was required, staff feedback was positive to their attitude and completion of works in leaving nothing to be questioned.

Safeflow Ventilation is under contract for the annual cleaning of our kitchen ductworks. Currently we have 81 clubs within our estate and the contract value is a substantial cost. The contract with Safeflow commenced on the 1st January 2014 and I am pleased to advise that this will continue for 2015. They have performed very well and all works were undertaken when they were scheduled to. The staff whilst on site were friendly and left the areas clean and tidy. The company's area of expertise is air conditioning. Safeflow have undertaken ductwork cleaning for 7 operating theatres. Additionally they have worked in the Pharmacy CIVAS preparation area.
The company has a strong ethos on completing works in projected time scales. The quality of work is to a very high standard. The company are also very flexible in their approach to works. They have undertaken fire damper testing during schemes, even though initially this was not on their original action plans.
The company management have a strong level of technical knowledge in their area of expertise.

Safeflow ventilation were employed to investigate sample and clean the entire ductwork network (including photographic evidence of before and after) of a twin operating theatre complex. Within a very short space of time they had assessed the rooms with regard to number of grilles to be removed and cleaned and quickly ascertained the runs and sizes of ductwork involved. Photographs were quickly taken for the pre-clean report and cleaning of the ducts and grilles was started straight away.
Although the theatre complex was to be out of action for the full weekend with no other persons being allowed into the area, Safeflow cleaned up and left the complex tidy overnight, the following morning the works resumed and good progress was made throughout the Sunday. With the ductwork and grille terminals now clean the post photographs were taken and the theatre complex was cleared of all equipment.
A report containing the pre & post reports including all of the photographs taken arrived within a couple of days of completion.
The theatre complex was then deep cleaned by Hospital staff who commented on how clean the area already was.
Safeflow carried out the required works in a clean, efficient and very professional manner, and we would have no hesitation to employ them again.
